It took 5 castings and about ten months total for this girl to heal up, but the tendon that had been severed and separated about one inch actually grew back together. First we shaved the hair off of the leg and then Ronnie could take a good immobilizing cast from the hip to the toe. The vet did not want anything to possibly move. This was a very unique case and I'm thankful I got the opportunity to help this girl. She's out running with her pasture mates and enjoying the life and free movement that she has. No more wire fences around her either.
