Joc is a 30 year old horse that still has a lot of life to him. His owner, Christine, could not bear to put him down as was recommended by her vet. This condition took only 6 months to fully develop. Surgery was not an option due to Joc's age. The vet felt it would be too risky. Christine called Ronnie Graves in to evaluate Joc. It took two tries, but in the end we were able to provide Joc with a clamshell type laminated device with lots of padding that allow Joc to roam the pasture for a couple of hours. He gets a little tender and Christine will remove it for awhile. We are hopeful that the little horse will be able to wear it for extended periods in the future
